Prof. Dr. Samina Nasim is a seasoned researcher, Art Historian, Visual Artist and academician, currently serving as professor of Fine Arts, Principal, College of Art and Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. She is Gold Medalist and scholarship holder and won several awards during her professional life. She did her Ph.D.in Fine Arts 2009 and has more than 28 years Academic Experience and 35 years as Visual Artist/ studio practitioner. She taught M.Phil and Ph.D. and Higher Education Commission (HEC) Approved Research Supervisor. She has more than 12 National and International Solo Shows and more than 100 group shows in her credit. She has presented her research in several National and International conferences at Turkey, China, South Korea, UK, USA and Saudi Arabia.She has won several prizes in prestigious art competitions. In 2017 she received an International Award of Excellence from “Museum of Hebie Normal University Shijazuhang China” and her Art Work was selected for permanent display in the Museum of Shihiazuang, China, 2017.
