Aisha Altaf graduated In 2024 from the National College of Arts Lahore with a major in Miniature. She is based in Frankfurt, Germany .Her work is an exploration of feminine energy within society, herself and it's relationship with the socio-political aspects of the South Asian social dynamic. Growing up in a family of Printers in Pakistan, her affiliation with paper is evident as she explores the materiality of the material itself. While basing her practice on indo-persian miniature techniques ,she delves into a contemporary exploration of paper itself. In some of her pieces there is no trace of paint, as she employs paper staining, carving and wasli making processes. She has exhibited in Art Next "Yahaan se Agay" and IPEX 2023, a solo debut show at Alliance Francaise Lahore, ‘RECENT’ at Tagheer Lahore 2024,Current Creatives at Ejaz Art Gallery in 2024 and internationally at The Art Den Dubai 2024,”Alif Anaar” at Numaishgah 2025.
