Dr. Arshed Maqbool brings an artistic eye to the streets of Lahore and the historical monuments that he commits to canvas. Painting almost exclusively with oils, Dr. Maqbool received his training as a medical professional and honed his artistic skills autonomously. He has a passion for rendering ancient building structures and landscapes accurately while maintaining an impressionistic style. His art has been displayed at the Dubai Biennale, at the Nairang Gallery, as part of the Alhamra National Exhibition of Visual Arts, and in several solo and group gallery shows. He resides in Lahore.
